145th Cedar Creek Reenactment

Oct. 17-18, 2009 at Middletown , VA

Despite a terrible weather forecast, members of the 78th PVI, Co. F attended the reenactment at Cedar Creek and combined to with friends of the 40th and 63rd PA to field a company under Capt. Brian Roman.  The weekend was a bit colder than usual and overcast the entire time, but the rain held off for the most part until the end of the battle on Saturday and stopped around 3:00 AM on Sunday.  Sunday was a little warmer and by late morning, the tents were dry.  Although the event overall turnout was a bit lower due to the weather, a good time was had by everyone.
